LADERA RANCH, Calif. – (July 31, 2017) – Ladera Sports Center announced today that the facility will host a free basketball shooting machine clinic on Monday, August 7, to celebrate the one-year anniversary of its grand opening.
Held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., the clinic will utilize Dr. Dish shooting machines, programmable training machines that help basketball players advance their skills with various drills, repetitions and game-scenario situations.
“We are very pleased with the success Ladera Sports Center has had in our first year of operation, and are excited to celebrate this momentous anniversary with a clinic to further our mission – to help athletes become champions,” said Steve Williams, chief executive officer of Ladera Sports Center.
Since its opening in 2016, Ladera Sports Center has become an increasingly popular venue for a wide range of athletic competitions, camps and classes, open gym and private training for basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, dance, pickleball and more. The sports center is also home to the San Clemente Volleyball Club, an award-winning club for boys and girls ages 10 to 18; Prime Volleyball Club, the host of club teams, camps and clinics for boys and girls of all ages whose staff includes three coaches with USA Olympic Team coaching experience; and Team Nikos, a youth AAU club program with 16 teams ranging from 2nd to 12th grades.
